Dr. Cardle counsels corporations and individual entrepreneurs in the protection of their intellectual property with a focus on preparation and prosecution of patents in the USPTO. Prior to private practice of patent law, Dr. Cardle has been in-house university intellectual property counsel, a tenured engineering faculty member, and a consulting engineer. His research has been sponsored by national laboratories, and research publications include mathematical algorithms for simulation of fluid flows. James Cardle has earned degrees at the College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, MA), the University of Minnesota (Ph.D. Dept. of Civil Engineering), and the University of Notre Dame Law School (J.D.).
